Celebrating 20 Years of JUNTOS

We are thrilled to announce that JUNTOS is celebrating a new milestone this year: 20 years of fighting for our human rights as Latinx immigrants. Over the last two decades, JUNTOS has worked tirelessly to uplift our community and combat the oppressive systems that continue to threaten Latinx immigrants in Philadelphia.

As a way to celebrate our history and to ensure 20 years more of fighting alongside our community, we are excited to announce that we will hosting an Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, September 17th, 2022. Our goal is to raise $25,000 to support our continued work fighting alongside our community. There will be food from local Latinx-immigrant owned businesses, live entertainment featuring the musical and cultural traditions of Latin America, and a silent auction.

As part of the celebration, we will uplift and celebrate the organizing work from the last year that brought Sanctuary Schools to Philadelphia, freed 113 people from York County Detention Center, and provided hundreds of families with mutual aid support throughout the pandemic.

Tickets for the event will go on sale Monday, August 22nd and will be shared via newsletter, our website, and social media.

Can’t make it to the event but still want to support JUNTOS?

We hope you can join us in celebrating and honoring the all that we have accomplished over the past 20 years and all that is yet to come.
